Are you a college graduate with a passion for learning and teaching? Do you have an aptitude for standardized tests? Our tutors work primarily during after-school hours and on weekends; however, teaching hours are also available during the school day for our full-time enrolled students. A 10-hour/week minimum availability is required.
To be available for our on-going training and tutor development, tutors must live within 25 miles of Palm Beach or Broward County, Florida.

Position Summary
Score At The Top & Score Academy is always on the lookout for inspiring teachers and tutors. In our small classroom or one-on-one environment, this teacher/tutor will be completely student-focused, because our learning environment is so personalized. Our teachers/tutors not only make a pedagogical difference in their students’ lives, they also provide emotional support to students. Our goal is to foster in students their critical thinking and problem solving abilities, and at the same time be continually aware of each student’s emotional needs.
Principal Responsibilities Include, but are not limited to:
Flexibility and adaptability to personalized instruction and/or small-group classes
Entering qualitative and quantitative data into our on-line record system
Establishing and maintaining communication with parents and Score peers
Adding energy, ideas, and elbow grease to our campus community
Continually improving upon pedagogy through ongoing professional development and communication with peers across the company
Serving as a mentor for students
Qualifications:
A Bachelor's Degree is required for consideration
Confidence in the subject matter tutor/teacher claims expertise
Teaching credentials are a plus, but not mandatory.
Teaching experience is a plus.
Experience with students on the Spectrum and students with ADHD is a plus.
Mentoring experience.
An outgoing nature, organizational skills, competence on the computer, and enthusiasm for working in a remarkably energetic and fulfilling school setting.
Ability to begin teaching and tutoring immediately in the subject area, and the grade level required.
